Z-Flex

Z-Flex is a skateboarding brand with a very impressive history and makes awesome longboards and cruisers. It all started in the Dogtown area in Santa Monica 1975. During the 1975 Del Mar National Skateboarding Competition a group of young skateboarders called the Zephyr skate team, (also known as the Z-Boyz), started riding skateboards very differently and changed the game forever. Jay Adams (who is regarded as one of the best skateboarders of all time) step-father Kent Sherwood started EZ-RYDER that after 6 Months would change it's name to Z-Flex.
Z Flex has long been responsible for product innovation, being a pioneer in development and testing urethane wheels designs. Abrasion resistant Z-Smooth wheels and Z-Grooves wheels with a formula which most of today's skateboarding wheels are based upon are just two examples of game changing products. The introduction of concave on the board's top-side is another innovation that Z-Flex has introduced to the industry.
Z-Flex has endured to become one of the longest running skateboard companies in existence. Today Z-Flex keeps pushing for invation and continues its path of determination and dedication to skateboarding. Skateboarding is fun!
